oh, man, i'm sure there's a story here, but not in the way you've presented it. would love to see the face and its expressions. as is, you've given me a small snapshot of someone you saw on the street, but nothing more that would keep my interest.

Nice tight composition, but just a little soft given the gritty nature of the subject matter.

The expression and sense of despair come across well, but the image is out of focus, unfortunately.

This is a really small picture which if larger would have a great impact.

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

Older men with characterized faces don't always say "candid". This one is out of focus, shows no real emotion of despair (he could be tieing his shoes for all I can tell by his face), it is a bit small in size, and just really lacks a good candid quality. Little emotion. Little story told. A 4 vote from me.
