The contrast is a little high on this... The mood would have been nicer had it been a little lower I think... |

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.
A man on a cell phone. This is pretty much all of the USA and easy to capture anywhere. Too much dead space on the left that really leaves a lot to the imagination when this photo is so busy on the right; and the lighting is really not tended to here. It needed to be toned down and maybe given a complete conversion to b/w or sepia. Focus is lacking as well. I do like the sign about reserved parking though, and at least that gives it a bit of a pop value. A 3 vote from me. |

Like this enormously; reminds me of someone's work, but can't dredge that up out of my memory right now. The strange line of the shade is excellent, the sense of an affluent easy life is strong, the very high contrast effective for the idea of sidewalk heat. |

Nice graphic sense. The reds realy pop out. The negative space in shadow helps to counterbalance the fact that he's dead center in the shot. 8 |
