 I thank each of you 153 voters and 13 commenters on this. I didn't expect it to win a ribbon but at the same time, I didn't expect to land in 38th place either. I know some didn't see the silky waters as a texture and I guess the rocks weren't enough to say "textures" as well as many others. If you voted 4 or below and are reading this, I would really appreciate your comments on it. This is what can help me in the next challenge. This is only my second one and love the input.

As for editing, I first adjusted the color temp and tints in RawShooter, then did a little more adjusting in PS CS. I did a mild level adjustment, resized, USM then saved for web. I took this shot just after sunset so there would be that little glow of sunlight. And any processing advice would be nice too. :) Thanks y'all.

Jaw dropping shot, beautiful in every way. The tones in the water and rocks bring a peaceful feeling over the viewer. Composition is wonderful, I hope this is doing well.

At first I didn't like this - because the texture of the water was "erased" - but then I thought how interesting it was that a new texture was created - presumably by a long exposure. So now I really like it! Good job!

It will be interesting to see how this fares. It's very well done, and of course "smooth" is a texture, and you've contrasted it with the rough rocks, but how will the voters lean? This is pretty subtle for this challenge...
