After being reminded that my candids are uninteresting snaps, I thought I should enter a planned out studio shot for Textures. You know, something to look at with no real life attached to it. I decided, screw it, I find more life and more of interest in my 'snaps' than I do in most all studio work. It is no challenge to me to do studio shots. Yes, they make take a while to set up and perfect, but there is no spur of the moment, no serendipity, that I love so much about photography. When outside shooting people, You have the opportunity of capturing something that may never happen again. In the studio, its always recreatible, as I proved in my refraction entry.
So, anyway, this is a candid. Ask Nikolai. He was there. :P I edited it for DPC enjoyment, but honestly, it started as a snapshot. Now its an over edited snapshot.
Curves, blur, sharpen, saturate, blah, blah, blah. Where has the fun gone? |

| I like this. The greens are lovely. Her hair cascading down in its wavy fashion helps add to the shot. The duplicity of the trees works well to create a pattern. Nice DOF. |
