I really like your perspective & the use of desat is wonderful. I'm not really too sure about putting this in a Textures challenge. This actually looks too clean for me. By that I mean there is no rough textures like rust although I sure there is but by desating the tracks I think you have actually hidden your rough textures. In my personal opinion I think most Dpcers in this challenge were looking for not so smoother content of your subject.

Regardless of my thoughts about putting this in a textures challenge, this is still a really great photograph & Im adding it to my favourites.
