When I first saw this challenge description I figured I would see one of these along the way. :) I like the crop, the tear, and the blue background which kind of lends to the sullen/sad mood you have intended. Overall, good shot and great capture!

Nice idea, composition, color. I think that the crop is just a little too tight -- feels "in-your-face." I like the image, it's both striking and touching.
