| Beautiful combination of colours. IMHO, how about trying it just a bit closer, maybe so that the big thing in the middle is at 1/3 from bottom, 1/3 from left hand side - I don't know, it could work. Also, if you could control the reflections (the whites on the yellow), they're actually kinda pretty, but I'm not sure if the image wouldn't work better without them. Something to maybe try. |

| Great use of complementary colors in this shot. I think the composition works pretty well. The lighting is pretty good, though maybe a light/reflector on the right could get rid of some of the shadows so the yellow is even stronger. Focus looks good even though the bottom of the grill is a little blurry. |

The yellow and blue go great together and the inherent pattern from the grill, interrupted by the "thing in the middle" makes the image quite interesting.
Critiques: the overexposed highlights bother me a little. The image also feels a little soft??? Also, I'm undecided whether I like the blue that is peaking thru the grill at the top or not. |

Ok i saw this one the BIG Yellow thing is what i thought at first..... I really like this picture.... OK here i go..... I like the picture the bottom part is kinda distracting due to bing blurry my eye goes there...what i would of done is squared up in front of the Circle knob looking thing and had the line in the center of the picture and went head on at it....
OK wwhhheeww Now the +++'s I live the color (the sky and the yellow) Great crop! Over all i would still Give you an 8 =) |

Chris, this one caught my eye as soon as I opened your page. I really like the use of primary colors, and the way it kinda slaps you upside the head.
The only thing I could suggest to improve the image would have been to use a reflector to brighten up the top right area of the yellow grill. If you shot the image in RAW, you might be able to push the exposure a little bit, or else possibly in levels and or curves.
Anyhow, a nice strong image overall. |
