Thank you for all the comments - yes, it was a bit of a stretch! : )

Still playing around with manipulating images in Paint Shop Pro. Tried again after all the comments and got a better result. Slowly but surely getting there...

love how the waves create the 3rds in the shot, its ashame the photo is so washed out looking though.

What is the toy here? You should also improve the contrast, the picture looks too bright.

Seems to be slightly hazy, or fogged. Needs higher contrast.

Cute kid. Image suffers from lack of sharpness probably due to focus miss as waves look good. To better meet the challenge, how about picking up a sea shell, starfish, etc.?

Good idea and nice capture. However, the shot feels a little washed-out for me. I would perhaps look at adjusting the contrast a little bit to get rid of the 'whiteness' of the shot. Good Luck! :)
