Great composition!!! Personally I would of used a black background to bring out the "splash" a bit washed out. Dose make one thurty though!!

i really like this image, but i see some room for improvement.
-boost he green and yellow saturation levels to get more vibrant colors
-use a faster shutter speed to truely freeze the action, as is the water is a bit blurry
-reduce the amount of light hitting your background, or move your background further away so that you aren't getting so much light bouncing back
-slightly tweak your levels, to get just a little more detail and contrast.

Okay, cleaned my monitor before commenting on this one, wanted to make sure it wasn't smudges on my monitor. And it's not, I love the idea, it's very cute and well done in the end but the post processing really hurt this shot in the end. The blur on the lemon to the right and that odd little set of lines under it are really distracting and on the leave on the left, it's sharp on the top and blurred out on the bottom. :( This really hurts the shot. If it was all clear I would have given this an 8 but as it is it's dropping to a 5

I really love the arrangement of the elements in this composition. The action of the lemon wedge splashing into the glass and the water ripples at the base of the lemons outside of the glass really add some dynamic visual action. The only thing that really is lacking in this picture is the lack of sharpness and detail in the focusing on the objects. Had this image captured all the lovely details in sharp detail of the lemon circles, the lemon wedge splashing into the glass and the 'pores' of the full lemon this would have definately been a contender in the top ten.
