 This is probably too far out of the DPC box but I'm curious to see how it will be received. Cropped, sharpened and applied a filter for extra texture.

First off i must say this is an amazing photograph

I really enjoy the filter you used to get the texture feeling to it

I really like the moss and the buds, its just great
there is nothing i can see that would improve ths shot maybe if you could make the moss a little greener that may be better but overall i really enjoy this and it should have scored a much higher score

I just adored this. I think it's a rip off that you were scored so low. I love its texture and different perspective than most.

Faye, I didn't vote in this challenge, but checked your profile and found this beautiful photo. I love that filter and the clarity you've kept in the buds and moss. This is great work, with no reservations!

Returning for comment. At first, I gave this photo a low score since background has a weird feel to it. But looking at it again, I realized I was too hard. The background has a little something hard to tell. A bit distracting though. bumping to 6.

I love the overall graininess of the shot. It is very appealing with the vertical and diagonal lines created by the branches. It is artful. I'd frame it and hang on a wall! Ok, still loving it and after 2nd and 34d review, bumping way up.
