"Twisted Light" is a great addition to the Refraction of Light. Not too bad of a placement in the top thirty percent. Personally what I liked most from this piece is that I was not sure what the object was but it really grabs your attention.

The first thing that strikes me is the vibrant colors the red, orange do an excellent job of capturing the passing light. I think the composition is very nice and feels complete. The reflection or and a touch of yellow is really a warm piece. The curves in the image lighting that is captured in the lower left hand side is very interesting almost looking like a bulb. The smoothness you were able to create with the lines in this shot really allows the focus to remain on the vase. I really don't see anything I would try or possibly look at changing. I think you have an excellent piece here!

Well, it's a blinder!

I honestly can't tell what is happening here! obviously, there is a curved glass surface bending light, but what shape is it?

And what is the shape like a thorn coming out of the middle and going up to a sort of trumpet-shaped space or assembly? Is it a dark piece of glass, or what?

And the twisting of the image, and the bending of light apparently within the object - I can't tell if it some characteristic of the object, or something to do with the background. I suspect it of being a hand-made glass sculpture of some kind, but with the intense red and apparent yellow light showing to the right at the base of the photo, and the purple or violet reflections, and then the white continuatins of those reflections, the only way I could tell would be a 3D photo of the object. The name 'Twisted Light' is exactly descriptive of the image, and I wish you well with the picture

It seems to reflection not refraction! There is a huge diference at physics and words.
