cropped, rotated to an angle, upped the sat slightly, small amount of dodge and burn, cloned out tip of tree in bottom left corner.
Was suposed to be a pretty spring shot, my 9 year old son however wasn't very good at tossing the flowers gently into the air above his sister's head. Although this one isn't what I was aiming for I still really like it. LOL

I agree with the comments below, the photo is not sharp.

I also ask why? She is falling backwards but why, you know but its not in the photo to explain to the viewer.

I suffer this alot. I view my images thinking about where I was and what I was doing rather than looking at it as an individual scene.

I agree with Larus. Even without the "story" this probably would have scored at least a full point higher if it was tack sharp.

bit soft
lack of context(camera tilt /person falling backwards ?)

and (IMO) what really hurts it is the closed eyes ...

For starters, it would have scored much better if it were in focus, I can´t imagine there being motion blur since it´s at 1/800 of a second. Also the shot doesn´t connect with me, I don´t get what is going on, needs a backround or something to show the environment. What I mean is, is she slipping, is she jumping up in the air, is someone throwing the flowers at her, you can´t really make any of that out from viewing the shot. I know that comes from the title but it shouldn´t have to, the shot should tell the whole story.

Hope this helps :)

I enjoy this one, and think it should have done better!

Hmm... The motion blur or focus softness here detracts from the image imho. The overall pose looks very forced and unnatural to me (she may not be a great actress = ). The colors and exposure are nice though.
