I used an old Novaflex bellows with a Super-Takumar lens and coupled it to my Canon 10D with an adapter that converts screw to bayonet coupling. I had to focus manually and use the histogram to come up with the exposure because the adapter blocked the auto features of the 10D. Its bird seed

Interesting mix of color and textures. The white powery dusting tends to distract somewhat.

Parrots or parakeets I think? Those look like sunflower seeds on the left and there's maybe a peanut or two there. Great macro - lovely colours.

I like this shot. Good focus and lighting. However, to me it is not really an abstract macro.
