In my opinion the focus of this photograph is to far away to be interesting. The texture of the water isn't enough to carry the frame. It also may be slightly gray and underexposed.

have you desaturated the water as it seems to be lacking any color.
I think some blue in the sky and or sea would have been nice.

Don't you just hate a flat sky? I seem to always have that problem myself. Love the parasailers though. They really have guts I don't have. LOL...
