Love the differnet shapes/textures created by the water, the pollen thing is kind of ugly but the water is the important element here and it is nice.

I find this unpleasant. It's an unique approach to the challenge though. A bit too much glare in the water.

edited after votingUpon reading the other comments and actually reading the title, I realize that the object in the water is not in fact a cooked chicken wing, which I swear I thought it was. It still looks like that to me but I thought I should clarify why I thought the image was unpleasant. :D

Beautiful, glistening wood grain. Like how the curve around the knot and the successive grains look like radiating ripples. The pollen cone is a neat interest point and provides a nice counterbalance to the wood grain. Well cropped. Like it.
