I reeeealy love all that motion and blur...and the color is awesome! Everyone has their own likes and such, and mine tend to be a little different. Straight flash would have made this "typical" IMO...you need the sense of motion in an image like this, that is where the power comes from. One thing you could play with next time is to try the 2nd curtain flash sync with a slowish shutter speed...you end up with both motion trails and clarity, you can choose 2nd curtain flash under the custom functions menu...if you didn't know that already.
An example of 2nd curtain flash use...
For the picture I linked to above I used 1/30 second shutter speed.

| good locor, framing. Love the motion. for improvement it would be perfect if the face was more still. (I know, when shooting slow shutter at events, some moments have luck written in them) |
