Greetings from the Critique Club!
You've capture a lovely sunrise moment without blowing the highlights in a way that would ultimately destroy the effect. Well done. The shape of the boat and its shadow cuts the image from bottom to top into pleasing shapes. The zig-zag feel of the underexposed portion is a formalized leading line that winds up pointing directly at the sun in a very satisfying way. I enjoy the very smooth gradient sky as a counter balance to the textured rippled water; sometimes in scenes like this, a sky with lots of cloud activity detracts, or adds drama that does not seem appropriate. The golden colour is very beautiful, creating a duotone effect that's perfect for this scene.
I'm not sure about the minor elements in the background: the seagull, the dark objects in the water. In my opinion, the image would have benefitted had you decided to clone these out, because for me, my eye is drawn to them to no purpose, as they do not enhance the image. There is a certain distracting element to the far horizon as well; smoothing this, or cloning out the rightmost elements may have helped.
Overall, though, a lovely picture, and well done.
Hope this helps,
