Greetings from the Critique Club!
Your photograph has an interesting composition made of opposing lines, and a sense of depth afforded by the foreground elements that draws the eye across the image. Colours have a warm, almost duotone evenness that pleases. The background is divided into interesting shapes by the subject at top, left, and bottom.
For a macro composition, the overall effect is a bit busy, in my opinion, which is protracted by the very short depth of field. I think had the entire shot been in sharp and clear focus, the result might have been a stronger image. The item itself is old, and has a gritty feel to it. Had you chosen a deeper focus and concentrated on some aggressive sharpening in postwork, perhaps adding noise to strengthen the grittiness, the impact may have been very high.
I hope this helps,
