My eyes go to the poetry and bypass the hands. Perhaps a pen in hand writing the poetry would have been more effective.

The writing, much more than the hands, seem to be the focus of this shot.

I love the idea. The handwriting really captivates me. I wish the hands were in focus in addition to the poetry.
