The S.S. Mahino ran a ground on Fraser Island's 75 Mile Beach in 1936.

It was built around the turn of the century and had been a cruise liner between Sydney and New Zealand originally. It was used as a hospital ship during World War I and knocked around the South Pacific and Australia afterwards.

It was sold for scrap to the Japanese Milatary and was being towed from Sydney to be broken up, when a storm hit. The vessel towing it had to cut it loose because the storm was driving them both toward Fraser Island.

Many unsuccesful salvage attempts were made. The Mahino has been pounded by wave after wave for over 70 years, and is now a major attraction on Fraser Island. It's very dramatic looking and has an errie feel.

Good work. I like the about and really would like to see some curve lightening on the boat only to show up some more details.
