The family's collection of footwear, just imagine it used to be a pile on the floor before the shelving. We seem to have 3 of everything, hey ... we're busy.

I like the subject, composition and title but the black and white doesn't do it for me.

Looks like you had a serious problem with exposure and compression.

Over sharpened and way too many blown highlights for my tastes.

A little too much contrast for my taste, but I like the shot

First off, I like your idea, the arrangement of the foot ware and all useful toys around it is a thoughtful idea. I also see you went for the HIGH Key effect that seems to be so popular here at the DPC. I do like it overall, but the one thing hurting this shot IMHO is the wall around the mountain bike. It seems to have it's own light source. I know that it doesn't but so much of the detail on, in, and around the mountain bike is lost. This creates an unwanted distraction and a somewhat unbalanced feeling that my eye keeps being drawn toward. Overall a good step outside the box, good luck!

Nice idea and composition. Bike and other details are blown out - better illumination of the footwear would allow you to save the details and reduce distraction.

great shot - too much light or contrast though... it loses its texture and depth.
