wow, cool, I just found this photo, but it looks a lot like the photo I just took for the black and white challenge (memories)
also, did you adjust hue/saturation to get the blue?
try playing around with gradient maps and photo filters- they'll give you a smoother look.
this really does remind me of lord of the rings though, nice job getting the mood dialed in |

Nice take on the challenge. Appropriate mood in this pic with the contrast between the bright ring and the blue hand and BG. A touch of fill light on the RH side would have been nice to help separate the fingers from the BG.

| this is nice. the contrast is good, the composition is good. The blue coloring works well here though i think it might be a tad too strong. maybe bring the saturation down a tiny bit, but that's also just my personal taste. I hope you do well, and good luck. |

| cool idea - maybe a glow filter on the ring would have really set this apart. The hand is a little too purple to me, but that's just a personal pref. |
