Garden pot of Venus Fly Trap taken at the Atlanta Botanical Garden...you could almost hear these guys saying "Here kitty, kitty.." or whatever the equivalent would be for flies.

Why would an image like this have to be validated? Don't people know that is how this type of plant grows?

Healthy looking Venus fly trap! Very juicy. It's a good shot but slightly lacks atmosphere due to flat lighting. Shooting this early or late in the day may have added more drama. [7]

I can't imagine why this had to be validated. This is very good.

Do these things really grow wild? I've heard of them before but I have never seem one at all. Nice little jungle of fly catchers, well done.

Wow. Very cool subject matter. I'm not sure that you needed to include so many in the shot - perhaps a close up of one with several others blurred by depth of field might have worked better photographically, but I see where you were going by your title, making it look like a huge forest of the buggers... I think you accomplished that pretty well.

This shot definately creates a feeling of suspense. Compositionally interesting.
