i had other plans for this challenge but ran out of time. i actually took this picture out of a moving golf cart near the 14 hole. im expecting a 5ish finish.

this shot has a lot of potential. i would predict that if the tree were on one of the thirds your picture would score at least a full point higher. as it is now, the tree is slightly off-center; which creates an uneasy feeling.

I think an off centered composition would have been more effective for this shot. I'm a huge fan a lone trees!!!!

I love trees, but prefer them with leaves. This is a great image though, I particularly like the curve of the grassy hill as it meets the horizon. The sky is bit blurry - sharper would probably improve this shot as it would fit with the starkness of the winter tree. One of my top scoring images - good luck.

Windoze! Simple yet effective shot and pleasing to the eye. I wonder if the effect would be improved if the tree was further to the left but then again, it is the main part of the title so hey.
