Very last minute! Many thanks to my wife, Cindy, who helped immensley with this shot. We had bought a mask and feathers some time ago for a different challenge, I think Light on White II, but didn't use them, so we hurried & glued them on the mask and thought of this set up. Poor Gilly is becoming so used to modeling - she steps up to the "set" as if to say, "Ok, where's my cue mark. Let's get this over with."

I am shocked this did not place higher! It was very well executed from lighting to focus...I saw nothing wrong here. You even got your dog to be sleeping !
Very good idea and a most patient subject, it appears! Beautiful piece of fabric used as the backdrop, but I think I can see the selvage edge - may want to hem it for future use.
The cropping is a bit squeezed looking to me. I think it would be better if the shoe that the dog's head is resting on were turned so we see more of the interesting part of the shoe instead of the sole. It's a cute idea and I like the exposure.
