Thanks to my lovely wife and daughter, for their help.

My intention was to have my feet cocoon and embrace my daughter's feet in a relaxed pose (ankles crossed). I wanted her foot to be the focus and pop out against the other feet.

I set the shot up, and then had my wife click the remote shutter release. It took about 25 exposures to get this shot (the last one).

I don't have a studio, so I placed a black sweatshirt on our dining room table (where our feet were resting), balled up a black fleece vest (to elevate my daughters heels). I had my daughter wear black pants (as did I), and then held up a black coat as a back drop. The only light was natural and coming through a sheer panel on a small window. Four year olds tend to fidget alot, so it was difficult to get this shot.

It's good to have a sturdy table.

[ASIDE] She's going to be a big kid. At 4.5 years old, her feet don't look AS small as I expected next to my size 15s.

My guess?
4.85.
Reason(s)?
Cliche. DNMC. Too much noise. Boring. Hate feet. Not in Iceland. My toes are blurry.

I like it, and it's been too long since my last Challenge entry.

I like the idea. Not sure that so much space is really necessary on the sides. The blur on the left foot (camera right) is distracting me.

"Make something that you wear on your feet the focal point of your composition." Unless you're photographing foot-skin...I don't think this can fly (it's not a bad shot, though).

Nice interpretation of the subject... Unsure about the choice of tonal coloration, though... Perhaps it might have been stronger in B&W?

I find it funny that the adult could not stop wiggling their toes thus causing the motion blur that is quite noticable.

Nice composition and lighting. If you look long enough it almost becomes an abstract.

Good concept, foot on right could be little more in focus.

That's just wonderful, I hope you don't get voted down for them not wearing anything on their feet, because this is perfect as is. A 10.
