Took this photo for a friend's daughter for her senior portrait. I honestly couldn't come up with anything else to submit, so we'll see how it does. I only have one strobe, so it is pretty obvious that I had to adjust the curves for just the background. I hope I don't get voted down too much for that.

Very well done! Beautiful model and great composition with this shot make it a pleasure to view and vote on. I even like the high key-ness (is that a word? hehe) of the background. Her smile is natural and those eyes just draw you into the shot. DOF and skin tones are spot on. Great job.

beautiful face and smile- but the dark area at the top of her head bugs me - I don't know if it's her "roots" or a shadow.

Well composed, well processed. My only gripe is the model which is a bit too much congenitally perky for my taste. She is pretty and alive ... but just a little too much so. Back down on that and you've got a 10.
