Okay...I think this may be a first, for me anyway. This Panorama was taken at 6-03am and covers a full 360 degree range. You may see on the far edges a repeat of one of the machinery plants where the edges overlap. Combining 11 handheld images, manually stitched in CS2. I used the AE lock to hold the same exposure settings and converted them from RAW.

Details as follows -

- 11 images
- JPEG size 49.067mb
- Pixel Dimension 25,050 x 2,596
- Size 4.24meters(14 feet) x .44meters(1.5 feet)
- Total Pixels 65,029,800

Obviously I have reduced it right down for the web...but the large one will probably be printed and I can say that it shows incredible details.

Judi,

As of all your photos this is amazing, I took it into photoshop to have a closer look (hope you dont mind) and I have to agree that the detail shown in this image is fantastic! Great job with hand held also. I find it hard to compose a pano while holding still.

Great Shot!

You should try Autopano Pro, I like it a lot, I have been using it stitching more than 50 images together, it's very simple and works very well.. I put some of my stitched photos to this thread here

This image you're showing here is just too small to comment on it.. seems to be nice..

Damn 640 pixels max! This would have been great larger ;) I hope you have this as panoramas are really one of my favorite types of images ;)

Hmmm...I haven't heard of that one before but I will definitely look into it...thanks heaps Bruce.

By the way, Photoshop CS has an option under 'File / Automate / Photomerge...' to stitch panoramas together (you said you had to manually stitch them in CS2, must have taken ages!)

Thanks heaps for your kind comment. I have tried many of the stitching programees and am definitely not satisfied with any of them...to obvious a stitch. That's why I do it manually.
