 I wanted to add a little punch to this without a border (since thats a habit) and without high contrast. Just the simply coloration technique....

I really like this one, but then I am fond of cute feet. But I'd crop an inch or so off the bottom. The gift is her not the floor. I agree on the baseboard. I'd take it into photoshop and blurr that area so the transition is softer.

Nice. Although I like the angle I think the baseboards not being even detracts a bit.
