Some of you might recognize this from my PaD. Shot down in my basement with one light to the left and really slow shutter speed. I went with the F/8 because I wanted the background somewhat out of focus, but still see some of the detail on the wings. I think it adds a bit of depth.

PSP X edits:
Crop, resize, contrast (+10), convert to B&W with channel mixer (Red 76%, Blue 24%, Green 37%, Constant -10%), noise removal, sharpen and add border.

the shadow is so underxposed that it ruins this pictures potential

I can't say enough about your textures here. Wonderful. It's almost as if I could reach out and actually feel them. Nice shadows obscuring the right side of the frame.

The harsh shadows don't work for me, I'd like to see more detail in all of the statue.
