When I saw this piece of wood I saw as a person screaming or scared. But sometime nature can sream for help to...

Quand j'ai vu ce morceau de bois, j'ai vu comme une personne qui criait ou qui avait peur. Mais quelque fois la nature cri pour de l'aide aussi...

::: Critique Club :::

Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.

What a pleasure to review and critique your image ... Third challenge and top 20 already.

First Impression - the most important one:
This is so cool .. I loved it when I voted on it and looking at it closer .. yup still like this one.

Composition:

I like the way that this is framed ... For my tastes it is a little working on the centred .. but this may not be able to be helped.

Subject:
It definately meets the challenge ... I think it is acutally quite a clever find something like this in nature.

Technical (Colour and light):

I might have worked the contrast a little more to see what else could be brought out. I like the natural light of course ... but taking the shot at different times may also give different perspectives.

To grow its vote?:
You did so well .. congrats .. I am not sure about how to grow this one .. but continue playing and learning.

Summary:
Fantastic find and great shot!

If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via the PM system.

Cheers

Kari

Great photo for this challenge. Wish the lighting could be a little more consistant around the edges, but very nice.

Classic - what a find. I think this could have been more effective if it was darker, with more contrast.

This is a superb tree.......Munch would be amazed.....even the flowing sinusoidal curves look like his painting. I wonder when you first spotted it....long ago, or just before the challenge?
