I left you a comment in the thread. One heck of a shot in my opinion! I'm with fotomann on the fact that DPC baffles the hell out of me too. This should not have placed below the top ten.

LOL, can I come back and critique after I've broken the 6 barrier here? I really don't understand DPC. Photography I have a firm grasp on, but DPC baffles the hell out of me.

my DOF always leaves their nose out of focus too! and I get hammered for it! I LIKE it! I think it adds GREAT depth to your photo - 8 for now

nice work. is that the deer's tongue, or an apple? the edges around the coloured are a bite distracting.
