| I shot this image for another site's scavenger hunt, then I saw the Duotone Challenge here. I decided to enter the image as a Duotone at the last minute. After uploading, I noticed the thread in the forum about clarifying the meaning of duotone. I had to laugh out loud when I saw that the previous winner was a feather with its shadow! I was not trying to duplicate the previous shot; I had no idea that it had even been done. When I was taking the first shots of the feather on white paper, I noticed the interesting shadow, so I had my husband hold the feather up off the paper to get a better composition. Just wanted to clear this up. |

| I think more contrast would help this image out. I think the approach is interesting. |
