I agree with the others on this shot, while it has a story and emotion, the wall is so dark, you don't know where he is. The feet in the picture would have been better. A little more quick thinking and maybe another perspective, some clever metering and this could have been right up there. Keep going and welcome to dpc

I know what this is but it doesn't come close to having the same impact as other similar pictures. Unfortunately, many of those pictures are fairly well known so I keep thinking of those when I see this one.

I wish I could see more detailing on the wall... if it weren't for the "1975" in the lower left hand corner of the photo I would not know he was standing in front of the Memorial Wall...

I would have liked to see his feet and the bottom of the cane. I like the storytelling here.
