Processing: saturated the blues to punch up the sky; curves and levels to bring out the wood fence; converted to b/w using desaturation; added noise to emulate film grain.

Very nice composition with the white fence set against a background of dark grey rocks, and the sky not blown out, but there just seems to be too much emphasis on the rocks, and yet they really don't get big enough to draw my attention to them.

Strange. Why is the fence there? What about those rocks? I've never seen a beach or field like that. To me, the questions this photo raises make it very interesting. Good work!

I like this picture. I have to say, however, that the sky and the foreground look like they are from two different images because the foreground looks sharp and clear, whereas the sky is really noisy/posterized. I'm thinking that the strange sky is the result of too much post processing (maybe you darkened it too much or the mixture in the channel mixer just gave it that effect). Some noise reduction would have probably helped to at least minimize the effect.

Fascinating picture. The fence looks like it's in the middle of a river bed. How weird. Compositionally, I like it very much...like how the fence leads your eye over the rise. Makes you wonder what's on the other side. Interesting capture. 7
