LOL - what a cute and humorous shot! Love it! Maybe a bit too much white in the foreground, but definitely points for the fun factor. That and I'm an animal lover anyways.
Of the ones I've looked at thus far this one is among a few that stand out. I like how the lines sorta keep my eyes afloat and focused on the dog. The only thing that hurts this a bit is the shadows on the right.
I like what you are aiming for with this shot.. for me however, I think if you had more contrast and/or texture on the background and forground, it would have made it an even better shot
