Yup.... me again. No one else to shoot with.

I'm not really into fashion, my wardrobe is jeans, baby tee's and hoodies! So I love makeup and figured I would focus on that. I wanted to do something - just not too much.

This is one of my favorite pictures of me... ever. I expect to stay right in the 5.5's as usual, but I must say that it won't bother me. I love the image and I am happy!

Shot in RAW, adjusted the levels, added some contrast, a bit unsharp mask and a touch of Neat Image.

*Thank you everyone for the awesome votes! 13th place is nothing to sneeze at! :) If you want to see the edited version, I have it Here. I edited out the distracting tats and dark armpit.

Greetings From The Critique Club!!!

Initial impact: Nice shot but Way too much (blush?).

Color: I realy love the soft pink hues that drift through this photo. And the flesh tones are wonderfull. I have nothing to offer that could possibly improve in this area.

Contrast: The dark hair and eyes are most of the contrast in this shot. (which is fine). It is over expossed and the whites are so bright that it blows out some of the details such as wrinkles and such on the sheet. (which looks great!) This is a spectacular exaple of how to break the rules and succeed. I love it.

Composition: Nice Point of veiw. Good angle. Rule of thirds, nice balance. Looks great.

Border: I agree with the others on this one. The black border is a bit bold and pulls you away from the soft image. Perhaps a white border. With a few think black stripes or somthing of the sort would have worked better.

Overall: While initialy I did not like the make-up It quickly grew on me as an integral aspect of this photo. The soft tones and pinks mesh wonderfully. And the model is pleasing to the eye as well. Overall I would have to say this is most definately a beautifull photo you can be proud of. And bieng a self portait is just icing on the cake. Great job!!

I find the black framing too restricting for this dreamy style shot. The whites are a bit harsh. I think a softer framing would have made this shot, possibly a blurring out effect rather than the harsh frame pinning it in. Plus, if this shot is about the make-up, shouldn't the focus be more on her face? My eyes are drawn to the tatoos and the white dress.

Beautiful colors and lovely composition. White is hard to photograph without blowouts. You did a pretty good job. Makeup looks good. And the rest you already know. LOL! ;-) 8

The only thing that lets this photo down is the thickness of the border. It's too heavy and dark and it distracts from the softness and pastel colours of the photo. I like the way the dress is slightly blown out. It's an example where that look can work well. Well done.

I think that this would be a stunning shot but, it is a little too bright and the darkness in the armpit really detracts from the overall feel.

Boudoir photo, yes. Fashion? Not really.

Interesting. The tattoos seems out of place but it kinda helps make the photo.

This is a very cool photo. The pastel pinks and whites are just beautiful. I think the border adds to it making it even more striking. Great job.

You've lost a little bit of detail in some of your whites, but other than that, this is a fantastic shot. Love the pose, and the addition of flower petals to the background really elevates the photo (give it some depth and dimension) and makes it feel as though you really gave this a lot of thought rather than just painting her up and having her lie on the floor.

good concept and love the tattoos - could really be used for an advertisement. Excellent job! Lower left is lighted out, would be it's best if the entire photo was in the same light

COOL. I can see this in a salon catalog or brochure! Great pink and white tones. Nice focus. Too bad you couldn't do a little cloning in the armpit area.
