I liked this one alot... I also appreciate the way in which you converted it... think I'll try it. I was not at all bothered by the background becuase you used such a nice DoF.

very intriguing subject. you also seemed to master the lighting in this shot. a lot of times i see the lit side too bright and the shadow side too dark but you have it just right...

Wow! Awesome portrait. Why do people with white wiskers always look so much better in these duotones? My only complaint, and I could be wrong, is that his cheeks and forehead appear to have been Neat Imaged excessively. From his neck, he appears to be someone with very leathery skin, but his forehead and cheeks seem very plastic looking.
