 Setup: Drug three old TV\'s, VCR and power cable into back yard. Found old music VHS of "Samatha Fox" and played on VCR.

Post: Raw, Resize, adjust level, clean and save for web

Thought: Wanted to recreate a surreal setting to play music video's. My first thought was ballons for Nena 99 "Luft" ballons video. But I think that the music video genration and MTV was a stronger image for the 80\'s

Woo! Great image. I love the focus and the use of natural lighting is good. The contast between the electronic and nature is wonderful as is the green/browns versus the black of the TVs. The only thing I'd really change would be to crop out that blurred portion along the very bottom, I find my eyes wandering to it and it becomes a distraction. I gave a 5.

interesting idea. odd that you chose the drummer in the samatha fox song, though i guess your were trying to display the song title. Perhaps this has some relation to that whole controversy of the sins challenge, but I would think just showing Samatha fox would do the trick and be more pleasing. Anyway, if that wasn't the case, i find it strange you didn't choose to use a picture of madonna or another 80's icon for the displays.

good quirky shot, but location could have been better chosen in my opinion...maybe a factory? maybe at a junk yard?

Good take on the theme. The TVs look good but the snow on one of them looks fake (pixels too sharp).
