 At a wildlife preserve near here. Lots of people were out to take bird pictures, but I could only find other photographers to shoot. Used the new extender for this, too.

I entirely agree with the two very clever ladies below. This is a beautifully textured and balanced image, and it's one of those all too rare photographs that rewards a couple of minutes' consideration. I love it.

Despite the overall monochromatic color (sans the blue which I love), it has a painterly sense to it. The composition is lovely and the photog helps balance out the negative space to the right of the building.
