"Come on Mom get Real" is a little bit hard to figure out at first. The image comes across small, you do have up to 150 kb. I have seen a lot of images that are nice score worse because of the size.
The image itself is a little hard to follow. The one eighties thing that pops out of the shot to me is the mom's shirt, then naturally you have to look at the little girl. I think all of the eighties memorabilia is just background, people did not notice too much because of this. I think maybe a different placement of subjects, like having the mom and daughter at different ends of the couch with all the eighties stuff spread between them might have worked a little better. Also I would try a little tighter of a crop, the chair in the background with such a busy couch is distracting. Maybe if you tried different placement you could leave out the other elements like the flooring and chair in background and let the wild print be the backdrop. The preceptive/angle you were using is interesting and really brigs our attention to the two girls. I might even try adjusting the contrast to bring out the color and make the image more vibrant. I think the first few challenges are always though, but keep shooting and finding different prespectives for us to see. |

| Focus is mostly on the people who don't seem to fit the 80's. I see some records and other stuff that could be from the 80's but your photo is too small to really tell. |

| this is interesting, as you have made it seem almost like a natural scene, by their almost complete disregard for the items on the couch. Though, I personally believe you should have focused more on using that couch as the background or the subject, as it is almost too hot for this challenge |
