Since I don't know how to update the "Photographer's Comments" above, I will just write here I guess....
First, thanks to everyone for commenting and voting. I sincerely appreciate it.
Some were skeptical of the image, but this is not a composite. I used my 18-70 with 4x, 2x, and 1x close-up filters. Since my brother couldn't seem to sit still very long, I had to go with a larger aperture, which of course led to the more shallow dof. I would have prefered deeper depth of field, but it just wouldnt work. I tried a remote sb600 as fill, but then I kept washing out the reflection, so no flash...
The reflection is actually an image on the monitor of my laptop, which I positioned over him while he lay on the floor.
Thanks again. I really appreciate it...

I really like the reflection, but the yellowness of the skintone and the center-weighted subject detracts from it. |

I think it's great. Focus is spot on. I wonder if the lighting would allow this to be stopped down to get the iris in as well. Either way, it's nicely done. |

great idea. Just wish it was a little bit sharper on the whole eye (IMHO). Good job though! |
