 cloned out the heart, d&b, curves, levels, sharpen, crop
[heart was made of silver paper, lots of glare]

kids were dressed for valentines day, coming out of school.

a very good portrait, with or without the heart.
Although I think that the flowers need to be gone from the picture or be made more prominent.

Good entry into the challenge. I like the background wall and the boy himself. It's the treatment of the heart on his chest that I like least about your photo. Otherwise well done. 8

Nice portrait! The grittiness, exaggerated colour and contrast work well. The eye contact is fantastic. So too is the tight crop (by crop I mean either when taken or afterwards). I'm not sure what the heart is - card? chocolates? - but it doesn't matter hugely.

really nice conposition.i would like to see a rose between his teeth ;P
a little bit too much dodging and burning (especially burning) for my taste
the glaring flower in the left corner distracts from the subject imo
