this looks cool, but for me, it's done in by the background--just not enough blur. your background has so much sameness to it, that without the absense of some blur on the wheels, it almost looks like the car is parked...

Good photo but not enought blur in the back ground

great work and true to challenge, well done

Interesting shot but perhaps not slow enough a shutter speed to bring out a blurred background.

The backgound is not enough blurred to describe a great motion panning picture. 6

Where is the panning? The car looks like it is standing still.

Looks fast just standing still.

Pacing from a car it seems? Nice and smart way to do it ;)

Nice composure but there is a distinct lack of blur here, you have almost frozen the action rather than use a panning technique

great panning !

Other than looking at the wheels, it looks like the car is sitting still.

You should use more exposure in order to capture the motion
02/08/2006 04:07:53 PM
the background is only slightly out of focus/blur. But the composition is nice.

Nice sharpness and color. Shutter speed is probably too high for background blur to show that you met the motion panning challenge.

This action is stopped not panned. I believe you used to fast a shutter speed
02/08/2006 12:15:49 PM
you didnt captur much of a pan here, you can barely tell he is moving.
02/08/2006 05:02:14 AM
Does not give feeling of speed.
02/08/2006 12:47:32 AM
panning is turning, not tracking at same speed. nice shot though
