I almost forgot about these things-- the most original trend of the week!! 8

i think games are more of a fad than a trend

Should have done this one in colour - would have been very attractive.
07/29/2003 01:40:21 PM
think it would be better to leave out the table in front

cool

i really like the concept..... i think it could have been presented more effectively by croppingit so that none of the table was showing

I remember these things!! My nephew had them everywhere, and I mean everywhere! This works great in black and white. I probably would have shot in macro mode, more on top of the first several stacks, maybe angling the camera downwards a little. I think the composition would be more of an eye grabber if there was an extreme close up, with stacks going off into the distance. Worth a try...
Focus is good, DOF is great! I like the contrast... works well for this image...
Good luck in the challenge.

Kinda cool!

I like this picture, but in my opinion it might have been more eyecatching if left in color. Nice trend though!

Ah yes. The memorable pogs. Hours of fun, and hours of frustration. But yet, a great trend. - 7

Mabey you could have put the camera a little lower and the picture itself is a little too green or gray - 3
07/24/2003 02:54:34 PM
I think this one could be better in full color

great shot of the pogs.. you may have wanted to not have an empy table space in the front. It would look neat if you couldnt see where they began or ended.

maybe some color here? pogs were all about color! nice shot, though. great idea

07/23/2003 10:56:13 PM
POGS! I love those things =D
I wish this were in color though.
07/23/2003 10:23:43 PM
I definately remember this!

Aren't these things colorful? If so, then why is this shot in black and white? Doesn't make sense to me...
07/23/2003 01:54:17 PM
fad

Nice collection, and right on the money for this challenge. IMOcropping off some of the empty space at the bottom would help. Also why B&W? I'm sure there are great colors here.

POGs! I remember those! Wow, 1997 seems so long ago...
07/23/2003 01:32:11 AM
Ooh, forgot about this trend! Good idea. Composition is good. Lighting could have benefitted from some extra lights from the top, side or back. And I think color would have worked better, assuming that these things are all colorful.
07/23/2003 12:49:25 AM
I would have liked it better in color...
07/23/2003 12:14:46 AM
Forgot about the pogs.....back ih the day,...cool shot

I think that mabey the bright colors of the pogs would have added to this picture.
