This is interesting. I like all the texture and detail. Simple but striking...well done.

Without your title I would of found it difficult to identify your subject. Very abstact for this challenge and your title. The way you presented it to us is still good with nice contrast and focus. You are showing us the rustic look with bolts but doing nothing to show us a broken boat. What I see is old wood with cracks and bubbling/cracking paint. I would suggest a full or mostly full view of the boat to bring your subject alive. Still a good shot.

I just would have liked to be able to know it was a boat by looking at it. I think it may be cropped a little too close.

This doesn't look so broken. May it is not water tight.

This is my kind of shot! Chipping paint, rusty nails and rotting wood. This is in my top 5 for this challenge. Great entry.

Lovely detail study and great close up crop. Love that row of colourful rusted nailheads and the beautiful texture of the worn, white wood. Use of diagonals and lines is excellent. I like this very much indeed.

I like the close up of this alot. The rusty nailheads with the red against the stark black and white is quite good. One of my favorites of the challenge. 9
