*Critique Club*
"The Human Soul (female)" is a unique piece, the title defiantly grabbed my attention. It was an excellent out of the box idea and shot. During the challenge I was very curious to see what this actually was, and now I am still quite surprised. The abstract part of the challenge is prefect, I am thinking that maybe it was the empty space at the top the hurt the score. I think abstractly speaking your placement and emptiness of the top is a great fit but maybe from the voters perspective it seemed a little off because we are used to see full centered shots. I think you did great work capturing the glow with altering it to much or creating noise. I would be interested to see a few different crops to enhance the subject, but I still Iike your choice. I will be really curious to see your future pieces. Good work. |
