This is a very poorly done photo for many reasons: 1, it isn't appealing. 2, it's neither here nor there, it's got no relevance. 3, there's no technique - composition, lighting, flattering angles, interesting assertions. 4, it's a stretch! "his last breath" = "broken" doesn't work. ultimately, it's just not an attractive photo, which is why i scored it really low. sorry.

This is the worst picture I have ever seen! Technically this photo is dead!

funny picture. I hope he's feeling better.

i don't see how this related to the theme at all - just an ugly man who looks tired?

This evokes a kind of emotion that is not relevant to the challenge nor to DPC in general. Your title implies his impending death and is disrespectful in my opinion.

Brando?

Are you having an experiment seeing how many challenges you can enter with a portrait vaiation of your/models face? Just curious. If you are then I am really excited to see the results.
If not, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Didn't vote on this one.

oh, please...yuck!

I'm missing the message you are trying to send.

I wish this is not real.

Not very flattering, which will probably lower the score. Besides the title, something more is needed to tie in that this really isn't meant to be flattering. How about something like a first-aid kit, oxygen mask, even a beer bottle ...

I am not quite sure what is broken here. sorry.

I'm not sure that this follows the theme.

Generally with portraits the eyes are the most important thing to get in focus, and I'm afraid this is something that you did not manage.

Don't like it - sorry. What is broken?
02/09/2006 03:35:04 PM
I am not sure that I understand this shot at all, although I could probably guess. Technically good (from my perspective :-) but I don't "get it" - sorry!

plz read the challenge description.
