Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Abstract II (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC for Canon
Location: Toronto, near Skydome
Date: Feb 2, 2006
Aperture: 36
ISO: 800
Shutter: 1/100
Galleries: Abstract, Architecture
Date Uploaded: Feb 2, 2006

Slight crop -> Rotate -> Flip I think? -> Pulled in a bit on left & right in levels -> Curves a gentle Z -> healed some blemishes -> Resize -> NI -> Save for web.

Below is a shot I took of these pillars a while back with my P&S. My new Rebel can handle it much better and I was able to get the smooth gradations I was after much more easily.

DNMC!

Seriously, love the gradients in this image. The tonalities work really well. It's so eerily smooth ;)

This looks like an inflated air mattress with the extra sharp line at the edge of the first and second curves... but the shapes/color could represent lots of different things on different scales. Leaves a lot to the imagination. Nice!

I am going to try to predict what it is for each photo: Yours is ....(fantastic) and shades to window
