 A less dominant Dark-eyed Junco waiting its turn to come to the millet feeder.

Shot on the same day as my submission for the Wildlife II challenge. This was shot from inside the house, through the glass of our back door, which means I lost detail because of the extra pane of glass. Just imagine if I had shot this outside!

Had to compensate exposure while shooting for bright background due to the snow. Some dodging to bring out the highlights. Masked the bird and played with contrast on the mask only since I didn't want to increase the contrast too much for the rest of the image.

Not a spectacular shot for sure, but I like it. Will probably suffer from backlash because this submission comes on the heels of the Wildlife II challenge.
